MASALA OATS

Are you about that savory breakfast life? Then these are for YOU. I've never made these for meal prep but I bet they would keep pretty well in the fridge for 2-3 days if you made a big batch!

FULL RECIPE - MAKES ONE SERVING (multiply if you're doing this for meal prep!!)

Ingredients:

Oatmeal - 1 serving
Frozen Peas, thawed - 1/4 cup
Tomato puree or diced tomatoes - 1/4 cup
Onion (optional) - 1/4 onion
Garlic (optional) - 2 cloves
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Pav Phaji Pasta - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Garlic powder - 1 tsp
Red chili powder  - to taste
Salt + pepper - to taste

 

1. Cook oatmeal according to instructions
2. If you're using the onion + garlic, mince it and sautée it
3. Mix everything together, including the spices
4. Cook for 1-2 more minutes to let the flavors all seep into each other.
